This gallery of pictures features Stanton Lacy, a small village in Shropshire that can trace its history back to before the Norman conquest of 1066.
It is generally considered to have been founded at around that time by Roger de Lacy.
St Peter's Church is a Grade I listed building and dates to around 1050, although it stands within a much earlier Saxon enclosure.
It originally served as the mother church to nearby Ludlow.
