This collection of pictures features Lyth Hill, which provides some of the best panoramic views of the south Shropshire Hills.
The area is associated with the Shropshire-born novelist Mary Webb, who lived here in a small bungalow called Spring Cottage.
She loved Lyth Hill and it was here that she wrote The House in Dormer Forest as well as many of her poems.
A bronze bust of Mary Webb now stands outside Shrewsbury Library to commemorate the centenary of the publication of her first book, The Golden Arrow, in 1916.
