Shrewsbury in Shropshire is home to the world's oldest flower show, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the UK.
The two-day event is held annually in the Quarry and is organised by Shropshire Horticultural Society.
It features high-quality displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables as well as showjumping, military bands, cookery demonstrations, family entertainment, arts and crafts and trade stands.
The event started back in 1836 as a Carnation and Gooseberry Show in the Frankwell area of Shrewsbury, moving to the town centre in 1857.
It is recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's longest-running horticultural show to be held in the same location.
