The market town of Ledbury, in Herefordshire, is the subject of this collection of pictures.
Ledbury has a significant number of timber-framed buildings, including the 17th century Market House.
It is particularly noted for St Michael and All Angels' Church, described by Sir Nicholas Pevsner as 'the premier parish church in Herefordshire'.
Poet laureate John Masefield was born in Ledbury in 1878. The town was also the home of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and is associated with the Dymock Poets - Lascelles Abercrombie, Rupert Brooke, John Drinkwater, Robert Frost, Wilfrid Gibson and Edward Thomas.
