Carno Wind Farm in Powys, Mid Wales, is the subject of this collection of pictures.
The installation covers an area of more than 600 hectares on Trannon Moor near the village of Carno.
It was the largest wind farm in Europe when it started operation in 1996 and is still the biggest onshore wind farm in Wales.
The site is on a plateau 400m above sea level and takes in views of the Berwyn Mountains to the north, Snowdonia to the north west and the Cambrians in the south.
