This is a gallery of pictures devoted to Morville, near Bridgnorth in Shropshire. The village is home to Morville Hall, an Elizabethan house that was extensively rebuilt in the 18th century. It is owned by the National Trust.
Within the grounds of the hall is the Dower House Garden, designed by Dr Katherine Swift, which tells the history of English gardening from medieval times to the present day.
The village church is dedicated to St Gregory and is mostly Norman, although the south doorway contains some 12th century ironwork.
The 18th century bells were repaired following a fundraising campaign and in 2009 rang out for the first time in 55 years. Sufficient funds were also raised to increase the number of bells from six to eight.
