Morris dancers are a familiar sight at festivals and other events around Shropshire.
They keep alive the traditions of a form of English folk dance, which is usually accompanied by music.
Performances are based on rhythmic stepping and involve implements such as handkerchiefs, sticks and bells.
Our galleries of pictures include Shrewsbury Morris, the Ironmen and Severn Gilders, Shropshire Bedlams, Crook Morris and Crooked Steeple.
