Brilliant blaze of red near Much Wenlock
Here’s a sea of poppies beneath a bright blue sky just outside Much Wenlock.

A flash of red caught my eye as I was passing the old windmill, and I just had to stop the car to get this shot.
The atmopshere was crystal clear after overnight rain showers, and it was great to simply stand and watch as the big white clouds rolled in.
The Wrekin can be seen on the horizon, about five miles away as the crow flies, and the sun is shining - lovely Shropshire!
