1-on-1 Private Workshop Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

Payment Requirement: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your requested date and time slot.

Confirmation: Your private session is officially scheduled once full payment is received and the location and start time are agreed upon in writing.

2. Rescheduling and Cancellations

Because this slot is reserved exclusively for you:

Client Rescheduling:

You may reschedule your session without penalty if requested at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start time.
Rescheduling requests made 3 to 6 days prior are subject to a 20% rebooking fee to cover administrative costs and reserved calendar time.

Requests made less than 72 hours prior to the workshop start time cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
Client Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance are eligible for a refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable.

Transferability: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your booking to a friend or relative for the same scheduled date and time, provided you notify the instructor prior to the session.

3. Weather Policy and Flexibility

Adaptable Conditions: Landscape photography often produces striking images in dramatic weather (overcast, mist, rain showers). The session will proceed in most standard weather conditions.

Severe Weather: In cases of extreme, dangerous, or completely unworkable weather (e.g., heavy downpours, high winds, flash flood warnings), we will attempt to adapt the itinerary or reschedule the 4-hour session at no extra charge.

Instructor Cancellation: If the instructor must cancel due to illness or emergency, you will be offered an immediate choice between a full refund or primary choice of a rescheduled date. Secondary expenses (travel, lodging) are not covered.

4. Customization, Punctuality, and Location

Tailored Itinerary: Prior to the workshop, the instructor will consult with you on your skill level, physical mobility, and artistic goals to tailor the 4-hour itinerary.

Punctuality: Because this is a timed 4-hour block, late arrivals will result in reduced instruction time. Time lost due to late client arrival cannot be added onto the end of the session.

Transportation: Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing, participants are responsible for their own transportation to and between photography locations.

5. Equipment, Safety, and Personal Liability

Assumption of Risk: Outdoor photography carries natural risks (uneven ground, wet rocks, changing weather). By attending, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take personal responsibility for your safety.

Gear Responsibility: The instructor is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of your personal camera equipment, clothing, or belongings during the session.

Recommended Gear: You are expected to bring suitable outdoor clothing, sturdy footwear, and camera gear adequate for the agreed itinerary.

6. Image Rights and Intellectual Property

Your Photos: You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all images you capture during the session.

Behind-the-Scenes Images: The instructor may take casual photos/videos of you in action during the workshop for social media or promotional use. If you prefer not to be photographed, simply let the instructor know before the session starts.
