Peaceful end to the day in the Stretton Hills
Soft autumn colours steal across the slopes of the Lawley, near Church Stretton, at sunset.

I was standing on the summit for this shot, looking northeast towards Frodesley and Acton Burnell.
I like the way the late sunshine picks out the footpath that runs along the top of the ridge and highlights the trees in the shadow of the hill.
The Lawley offers a gentle grassy walk to a satisfying summit, with wonderful views across the surrounding countryside.
A quiet moment at the end of a long day.
