A Shropshire Lad starts a bright new chapter
It’s here - a new edition of A Shropshire Lad featuring my photographs has now gone on sale.

It updates a previous version of A E Housman’s much-loved book - also illustrated by me - which sold out.
The new arrival is the only photographic version of A Shropshire Lad in which the county's stunning landscapes - which have scarcely altered since Housman’s day - have been matched with the stanzas on each page.
I was delighted to chat to Michaela Wylde on BBC Radio Shropshire about pre-dawn photo shoots, lugging heavy camera gear up steep hills, waiting around in the wind and rain for that perfect shot, and more.
The book costs £20 and is on sale at outlets across the county. They include Shrewsbury Museum, Ludlow Castle, Booka Bookshop in Oswestry and Bridgnorth, Burway Books in Church Stretton, the Castle Bookshop in Ludlow, Pengwern Books in Shrewsbury and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre at Craven Arms.
It is also available from the publisher, Merlin Unwin Books of Ludlow, and through my website here.
