A favourite walk at in spring is through the wild garlic that carpets the route of the old railway line at Much Wenlock.

The castle ruins at Bridgnorth include a tower that leans at an angle of 15 degrees, three times greater than the leaning tower of Pisa. The damage was caused following an attempt to blow it up during the Civil War.
