Snowdrops in the churchyard of St Mary's at Stottesdon, Shropshire.
Nodding in the breeze - a bank of snowdrops in the churchyard at Stottesdon, near Cleobury Mortimer. St Mary’s dates from Saxon times and is one of the small group of Shropshire churches mentioned in Domesday Book. Interestingly, the name Stottesdon is thought to mean ‘the hill of the herd of horses’.
