A golden sunset picks out the medieval ruins of Clun Castle, surrounded by the last few patches of hawthorn blossom. For some time now I’ve been meaning to get a photograph that includes the old shed in the field below the castle, and this proved to be the perfect opportunity. The rustic structure glowed in the early evening light, its earthy colours intensified as the sun started to go down. It was just me and the birdsong - a peaceful end to the day.
