A carpet of wild garlic on Wenlock Edge, bathed in a golden glow at sunset. I had visited earlier that day but decided to go back in the evening to capture long shadows in the woodland. As I stood there a deer wandered into view at the top of the slope and I hoped he might move into the picture, but he saw me and ran off before entering the frame. Otherwise, I had the whole place to myself, listening to birdsong as the sun went down.
