It was one of those perfect spring days, with golden daffodils nodding away in a village churchyard beneath a bright blue sky. This is St Edith's Church at Eaton-under-Heywood, on the lower slopes of Wenlock Edge. I took this picture yesterday morning while listening to birdsong punctuated by the insistent call of a nuthatch perched high up on the church tower.
