Sunrise from Caradoc
The summit of Caer Caradoc offers one of the finest views in the whole of Shropshire.
It also happens to be one of my favourites, and one that I never tire of photographing
This was my view at sunrise last week, looking out from the summit towards the Lawley, with the Wrekin seen on the horizon.
It's a tough walk carrying all my camera gear - which weighs in at two stones (12.7 kg) - but it’s always worth the effort.
I park in the layby just outside Church Stretton, at the top of Sandford Avenue, and it generally takes me about 45 minutes to reach the summit.
I could park closer, but I enjoy the exercise!
