Ethereal morning in the misty Stretton Hills
Shades of blue - mist rolls across the landscape as dawn breaks over the Long Mynd.

I was confronted with this other-worldly scene while standing on Adstone Hill, not far from the route of the Shropshire Way.
There was no sound to be heard - not even birdsong - and for a short while I had this wonderful view all to myself.
It was my first visit to Adstone Hill and well worth setting the alarm for 3.45am on what was my earliest start of the year so far.
