Sunshine and colour light up the Dingle
This was a glorious spring day in the Dingle at Shrewsbury, with St Chad’s Church framed by daffodils.

On the face of it this is an extremely simple shot, but a lot of effort went into creating it.
Look closely and you will see that absolutely everything is in focus - from the blades of grass and brightly coloured flowers at the front, to St Chad’s in the background.
This is thanks to a technique called focus-stacking, which involves combining multiple shots that are each focused at a different distance.
The result is a single image with a greater depth of field, which ensures that everything is in sharp focus.
It took a total of 15 shots to produce this picture, and caused much interest among onlookers enjoying their lunchtime break in the sunshine.
