Magical landscape of snow, sun and mist
Mist, sunshine and snow combined to create some magical scenes in the Stretton Hills.

There were some amazing photo opportunities from where I was standing on Caer Caradoc during a recent day out.
Pictured above is a cascade of white flowing between Helmeth Hill and Hazler Hill on the left, while the snow-covered summit of Ragleth can be seen to the right.
A little while later and this was my view of the Long Mynd rising above Church Stretton.
It was a day of constant changes in the landscape, with fantastic views in every direction.
Despite the snow it didn't feel cold, and after a few hours it even became warm enough to walk around in short sleeves.
