A walk into history on top of Burrow Hill
Join me on a walk up to the Iron Age fort on the summit of Burrow Hill, near Craven Arms.

It was a beautiful sunlit evening and there was no one else about - it was just me, birdsong and the bleating of sheep.
The fort - known as Burrow Camp - incorporates the remains of an earlier fort and has spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.
As is so often the case, I didn't see another soul until I was back in the car and heading for home.
