Over the stile on a footpath to discovery
A stile and a footpath just waiting to be explored - I came across this idyllic spot near Ludlow.

In the distance is the old church at Hopton Cangeford - now a private property - and beyond that is the quirkily named Cuckoopen Coppice.
I was actually on my way to Brown Clee, but two road diversions sent me off in a completely different direction and I ended up here instead.
It was a warm evening with the late sunshine turning the field into a beautiful shade of gold, so it all worked out well in the end.
