Magical morning in beautiful Clun Valley
An ethereal Shropshire sunrise, with wisps of mist clinging to the fields and hedgerows near Clun.

There was a slight chill in the air as the sun rose in the sky, casting long shadows across the landscape.
It was a morning decked out in shades of green, gold and blue, and as I stood in a field above Clun the only sound I could hear was the distant bleating of sheep.
This lovely spot is one of the ‘quietest places under the sun’ which A.E. Housman describes in his much-loved book A Shropshire Lad.
