Close encounter on the summit of the Wrekin
I was on my way up the Wrekin at sunrise when I got the distinct impression that I wasn’t alone.

As I turned around I spotted a couple of deer who eyed me up suspiciously before running off.
I followed them very cautiously and came across this group near the summit, grazing in the early morning sunshine.
Then it was just a case of biding my time until they moved into position and I got my shot.
Here's some footage of the deer from that morning.
