How beautiful is this - vivid pink cherry blossom near the medieval packhorse bridge at Clun.

I make a point of visiting every springtime, and that’s where I was at the weekend.

It was a perfect day of sunshine and bright blue sky, which made the colours seem even more intense.

After getting my shots I sat on a nearby bench for a while, listening to birdsong and the sound of ripples in the River Clun as the blossom swayed gently in the breeze.
