Stunning sight at sunset in Clun Valley
A pink and gold sunset in the Clun Valley was made even more beautiful as birds swooped across the sky.

I was taking pictures on Heath Mynd, near Bishop's Castle, when I heard a fluttering of wings and looked up.
Overhead was a murmuration of starlings, the first I had ever experienced while standing above a sea of mist.
I had to make a rapid lens change but was able to get off a handful of shots before the birds dropped down into the mist and disappeared from sight.
Heath Mynd is located just one mile from the border with Wales and is known locally as Bent Hill or Whinberry Hill.
It is 452m high and is notable due to its Marilyn status, which is a designation for a peak with a significant drop on all sides.
