Early morning walk along the Lawley
What a sight - I had spent sunrise on the Lawley and came across this view as I was heading back down the hill.

My eye was caught by the inviting footpath along the top of the ridge, and the contrast in colours between the sweeping slopes and the frost-covered fields beyond.
I particularly liked the two figures walking along the path who added a real sense of scale to the picture.
It wasn’t a shot I had planned in advance, but I will absolutely be returning in every season to repeat it.
I love revisiting scenes throughout the year because of the changes in the landscape - the new colours and varying angles of light make everything look so different.
