Snow at sunrise on summit of Titterstone
A stark yet beautiful sunrise on the summit of Titterstone Clee, with the radar domes standing like sentinels.

There had been snow on the forecast the night before, so I set my alarm for 4am in the hope of getting some wintry shots.
Titterstone turned out to be the right choice because as I looked around me I couldn't see any snow on the surrounding hills.
It was bitterly cold up there, but it was a wonderful place to watch the sun come up.

Later, I got this shot of Brown Clee seen from the summit of Titterstone, separated by a patchwork of fields.
There was a dusting of snow on the rocks, but it quickly melted away in the warmth of the early morning sunshine.
