Autumn arrives on the slopes of the Lawley
The year is marching on, and here's some vivid autumn colour on the Lawley, near Church Stretton.

I was standing on the northern edge of the hill for this shot, watched by a curious sheep as I set up my camera and tripod.
Shorter days and colder temperatures are definitely on the way, but there’s still plenty of time left to enjoy the Shropshire sunshine.
This was a great day to be out in the hills - see if you can spot the walkers heading back down from the summit on the right of the picture.
